Featuring the world premiere of Sean Friar&rsquo\;s <em data-start="171" data-end="178">Renew</em>\, written in honor of the Lamont School of Music&rsquo\;s centennial\, this program reflects on challenges overcome and futures reimagined. Michael Markowski&rsquo\;s <em data-start="330" data-end="342">City Trees</em> offers a tribute to the perseverance of trees surviving in a concrete jungle. The centerpiece of the program is Adam Schoenberg&rsquo\;s <em data-start="410" data-end="424">Losing Earth\,</em> a meditation on climate change and survival which features percussionist Michael Van Wirt.
