Accessing Voice Mail From Outside your Office

1. Call 303-871-5050 (15050 on campus)
2. Press # to access your mailbox at the voice prompt.
3. Enter your 5-digit mailbox number and # when prompted for  your "ID".
4. Enter your PIN, followed by #.
5. Follow the prompts to listen to, delete and save messages.

3. On the Phones page (default page upon login), click on Call Forwarding in the left navigation.
4. Click on the checkbox next to “Forward all calls to:” and enter the remote phone number in the input box.
   *Forwarding to an �Ǵڴ�-��������ܲ���number: If you are entering an off-campus phone number, include a “9” in front of the number to designate the forwarded number as an off-campus number. 
   Ex: 93035556789
   *Forwarding to a long distance number: If you are entering a long distance number, include “91” in front of the number to designate the forwarded number as an off-campus long distance number.
   Ex: 913125556789
5. Click Save.

To access iBanner and other ����ֱ�� resources from off campus, you must first install and connect to the VPN. For help troubleshooting the VPN, contact the IT Help Center at 303-871-4700.

Yes, you may take your work computer (desktop or laptop) home or other technical equipment if you have your supervisor’s approval. The following protocols must be followed while using a work computer from home:

A VPN, or Virtual Private Network, is a secure way to to connect to on-campus ����ֱ�� resources from off-campus.  It is required to remotely access many of the ����ֱ�� applications to prevent loss of data.  Download the VPN.

Please be advised that the University’s VPN is only needed for off-campus access to resources located on campus that have not been made available to the outside world through our firewalls.  Network file shares, Remote Desktop (RDP) access to servers and workstations, and Banner are all examples of when the VPN is required.  Jabber, OneDrive, Canvas, Kaltura, Microsoft Teams and O365 email are all examples of applications that do not require the VPN.

  If your only option to complete your work from off campus is to use your personal computer, the following protocols must be followed:

1. Connect to the University network using VPN before beginning any work.
2. Antivirus software must be installed.  Crowdstrike is available for use on personal computers for faculty, staff, and students.
3. Storing unencrypted work files on personal computers is prohibited.  Use secure practices by storing files on Office365 , .
4. Use your official ����ֱ�� email for all work emails.
5. Use ����ֱ��’s secure email feature when sending any emails with confidential information such as student information, employee information, or financial information by simply beginning the Subject Line with the words ����ֱ�� Confidential.
