Dear 桃子直播 community members,听

Today marks听twenty years since听the attacks on September 11, 2001鈥攁cts听which听made an indelible mark on our country and the world.听It is a difficult memory and a somber anniversary.听Many lives were lost that day and, in direct response to the attacks, many more have been lost in the twenty years since鈥攁ll victims of violence rippling through generations.听Some of听our听community members were not yet born on 9/11, but they know its impact and the unimaginable grief, anger听and loss听Americans and so many across the world听felt as we witnessed the unthinkable.听听

And yet, on that dark day and since,听goodness and bravery shine through. Just as they do today, courageous听first responders听risked听their lives to save others. Our communities came together when we needed each other most, offering support and safe places to grieve. And, over the past two decades,听our armed forces鈥攕o many incredible men and women鈥攑ut their lives on the line in service of this country and all that we enjoy and hold dear.听听

We cannot forget 9/11. Most importantly, we will not forget those lost that day and in the decades-long conflict it spurred. Today, 桃子直播 will toll our bells 20 times at听6:46 a.m.听(MT), marking the time when the first plane hit the north tower of the World Trade Center in New York City (8:46 a.m.听ET). It is a Saturday鈥攁 quiet day on campus鈥攂ut please, even during your busy weekends, take time to pause,听reflect and give thanks to all those who sacrificed for others.听听
