The Board of Trustees is firmly committed to transparency and accountability in its governance practices. While the Board does not regularly engage in direct communication with the broader community, it works closely with university leadership to ensure information is shared through appropriate channels. However, in specific circumstances—such as the appointment of a new Chancellor or matters involving significant budgetary decisions—the Board may issue direct statements to the community on issues of broad institutional importance.
