One of the many ways the Coronavirus pandemic has upended our lives is the way it has disrupted and transformed how we work.

This week, we suspended 38 of our men’s and women’s swimming and diving athletes from all team activities for violations of state and local public health orders, and University policies designed to address the spread of COVID-19.

I want to provide an update on our search for the ÌÒ×ÓÖ±²¥â€™s next vice chancellor of information technology & chief information officer (VCIT & CIO).

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Action Plan anchors this year’s strategic framework as a driving force in our abiding commitment to truly embody a forward-looking institution and community where all can belong, contribute, and thrive.

As we begin the 2020-2021 academic year, ÌÒ×ÓÖ±²¥â€™s DEI work will engage in five areas of impact, each with specific action items, aimed at securing leadership, taking action, and increasing accountability and consistency across the university. This action plan will serve as a new platformÌýas we enter into the next stages of our vision for a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive ÌÒ×ÓÖ±²¥.
